A larger campus also means that Damelin can now accommodate more students within the Centurion area. Facilities such as the library and computer laboratory are currently being developed to ensure that the learning environment is well equipped for today’s student.
Ian Jordaan, a second-year Mechanical Engineering student, expressed his excitement about the new campus by saying, “Not all the classrooms at the old campus had air-con facilities like at the new campus, which already is a thumbs-up for me. The feeling when you walk in the new campus is also better because there’s much more space, it doesn’t feel crowded, and there’s still the same friendly service like always.” Jordaan also noted that the new classroom positioning allows for easier communication amongst fellow students.
