Restaurant ManagerOur client based in George, Western Cape, is looking for a restaurant manager to join their team. Requirements:- Four years' experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
- Retail experience will be an advantage
- Great command of the English language
- Driver's license and own transport
- Excellent people skills
- Passion for the hospitality industry
- Innovative and proactiveÂ
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with food handling, safety, and other restaurant guidelines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Duties and responsibilities: - Food and beverage knowledge- Full menu knowledge. Manage and oversee a kitchen.
- Able to manage the ordering stock
- Knowledge of stock quality.
- POS knowledge, daily stock-takes and daily cash-up procedures.
- Staff-ability to motivate waiters/waitresses.
- Recognise the importance of customer satisfaction.
- Attention To detail and lead by example.
- Ability to handle guest complaints and build customer loyalty.
- Ability to perform the duties of any member of staff on the floor in the event of short staffing or unforeseen circumstances.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Complete weekly & monthly stocktakes
- Be honest, reliable, energetic and results driven.
- Must be a peoples person, with excellent guest communication skills.
