What will you do:- Strategy development: Create and execute social media strategies aligned with overall business and brand objectives, considering the target audience, brand identity and market trends
- Goal setting: Collaborate closely with client to identify social media goals, define target audiences and develop a clear roadmap for engagement and growth
- Content creation: Craft compelling and brand-specific content with the team, from daily posts to interactive campaigns, across social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube
- Campaign management: Plan, launch and manage social media campaigns across multiple platforms to increase brand awareness, user engagement and conversions
- Analytics and reporting: Track, analyse and report on key metrics using social media management tools to measure the performance of campaigns, derive insights and optimise strategies
- Budgets: Manage social media advertising budgets and campaigns, optimising for performance and lead generation
- Trend monitoring and social listening: Monitor trends and engage in social listening to inform content strategies, ensuring relevance and thought leadership in the digital advertising space
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, content creators, designers and sales to ensure consistency in messaging and brand representation across all platforms
What do you need:- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or relevant field is preferred
- Five-plus years proven experience as a social media strategist
- In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, their respective audiences and best practices for each platform
- Proficiency in using social media management tools for scheduling, analytics and reporting
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, derive insights and adjust strategies accordingly
- Strong understanding of social media KPIs, web traffic metrics and SEO strategies
