Kenya's leadership reality show names winner
Adan's plan reads: If I won the three million shillings, I intend to drill a borehole that will not only provide water for the community but also create a sustainable source of income that will be used in paying school fees for orphans in Mandera South constituency.
This project shall also seek to diversify the activities that the community undertakes from pastoralism to crop growing. The borehole shall be able to supply adequate water for irrigation.
Uongozi is a reality TV show on NTV that seeks to give a platform to a new crop of young and visionary leaders in Kenya. And it does this by challenging the values with which we choose our leaders.
The show started out with the following contestants from around the country- and even from the diaspora - who have been eliminated over the last 12 episodes: Philippe Sadja, Elizabeth Duya, Enock Gitau, Joram Omondi, Rose Nyasuguta, Keziah Kiseu, James Namuyon, Raymond Ochieng', Jenipher Chacha, Everlyne Gakinya, Hardlyne Lusui, Herman Muraguri, Zeinab Wario and Eunice Songa besides the two final contestants.
