Our client, a dynamic 360 degree media sales house is looking for a reputable, experienced media sales person to join their incredibly exciting business in Bryanston.
The media offering they manage includes:
- Campus TV, Campus Radio, Street ART, Transit, activation booking facility, and social media.
The company dominates the market, it’s a great role, as the briefs fortunately do come in, but you will require great account management and the ability to acquire new clients.
- It's a fairly new business, 5 years with long term agreements in place with top institutions in the country.
- They are experiencing record sales months and new inventory is being developed and innovated regularly.
- The business is flying, they are taking it into new areas, with very exciting growth occurring.
- You need to think and create sales proposals as if we were the media agency. All proposals need to think and act like it was written by a media strategist.
- You must be a strategic sales thinker.
- Clients include Media agencies and direct clients.
- Ideally has operated in a sales manager or senior sales role – it's a flat structure, and a team player is essential.
- Should have good product development ability and ambitions.
- A deep understanding of Gen Z, and how to effectively reach them.
- Strong relationship management with the clients.
Rather than peg a fixed package, they are looking for a heavyweight and are confident that once they find the right candidate, that we can match their market expectations.
Very importantly, if you have been a sales manager, or even general manager, you will have their own clients, and targets will also be allocated to you.
You will be a senior member of the team and will have a say and contribute to the overall strategy of the company.
Growth potential is certain as the business is moving into exciting directions where they continue to evolve people’s roles.
