Netflix has a new CMO
AdWeek reports that Bozoma Saint John will join streaming services company Netflix as a chief marketing officer. replacing Jackie Lee-Joe. Saint John, who has worked in marketing within media, entertainment, and tech sectors, will assume the CMO role in August 2020.
Saint John has over two decades of marketing experience, having served as, among other roles, chief brand officer at Uber, head of consumer marketing for Apple Music and iTunes and head of music and entertainment marketing group at Pepsi-Cola North America. Her most recent post was as CMO of at Endeavor, where she oversaw all of the holding company's marketing activities.
"I'm thrilled to join Netflix, especially at a time when storytelling is critical to our global, societal well-being. I feel honored to contribute my experience to an already dynamic legacy, and to continue driving engagement in the future," Saint John said in a statement.
