Away with press conference coverage of "discredited narcissists", says Redi Tlhabi

The Citizen reports that journalist, radio personality, and author Redi Tlhabi has expressed the belief that media houses should no longer participate in press conferences led by whom she called "discredited narcissists." Tlhabi expressed her opinion on Twitter after Zelda la Grange questioned the importance of former ANN7 and New Age boss Mzwanele Manyi's press conference to announce his "new political home."

Most media houses turn up for pressers by Hlaudi & Niehaus. Editorially, there is NO JUSTIFICATION for them to do so. She went on to clarify that according to "editorial dictates", there are more reasons not to cover the "discredited narcissists." Adding that "spectacle as news and media (is) actively propping up discredited narcissists."
