The Feather Awards, a light-hearted, glamour celebration of prominent individuals who are inspirations to the gay and lesbian community, from the sports, entertainment and business worlds, will have its first event on 11 November 2009. Sponsorship has been received from Chevrolet, which will provide a fleet of cars to transport the nominees to the red carpet.
