Coffee pinotage bursts with flavour
Val de Vie has launched its maiden vintage of Barista Pinotage 2009. Bertus ‘Starbucks' Fourie, MD of Val de Vie Wines, creator of the ‘coffee pinotage' is convinced that it is the best he has yet produced. It has a burst of intense, rich coffee and chocolate aromas with ripe nuances of mulberry, plum and Maraschino cherries and is good with meat dishes and rich creamy casseroles to desserts. The wine has a screw cap and will retail at around R60.
