Kenyan filmmakers to miss Africa in Motion festival
When organisers of the Africa in Motion (AiM) film festival announced the eight shortlisted films to compete at the prestigious festival, no Kenyan film was on the list.
South Africa which remains one of the giant filmmakers in the continent dominated the list with three films. In 2006, South Africa bagged the first true African Oscar award with "Tsotsi," a gangster film by Gavin Hood.
