Vodafone and Safaricom join forces
NTV Kenya reported yesterday, 1 August 2013, that Vodafone and Safaricom, an integrated communications company in Africa offering mobile and fixed voice as well as data services, will be joining forces as a result of "the growing need among corporates for communication services across borders and access to call services." Said Sylvia Mulinge, head of Safaricom Business in an interview on NTV Kenya, "What this partnership offers us is access to a wider footprint in terms of infrastructure so that we are not only limited to the Kenyan geographical borders."
