Khaemba launches website
The government wants to be a transparent and accountable institution responsive to the needs of the people, he said. "This platform offers you an opportunity to interact with the government and get all the information you require without going to county offices," Khaemba said.
The website, www.transnzoia.go.ke, enables residents to access the latest news from the county, download county publications, take part in online surveys, apply for vacancies and participate in discussion forums.
"All information on our development initiatives and projects will be readily available," Khaemba said.
The short SMS interactive platform enables residents to get information on their mobile phones by sending key words to the code 21905.
