    Youth for Peace International Logo Contest

    An invitation to participate in the International Logo Design Contest for the historic World Youth Peace Summit to be held in Nairobi, Kenya from October 23-28, 2004. The World Youth Peace Summit is an initiative to actively engage youth from every sector and region of the world to participate in achieving peace in all its dimensions.

    The Summit is by invitation only and will consist of approximately two thousand youth Leaders. Attendees will include youth and preeminent world leaders from Government, Business, as well as Nobel Laureates, Honorary Guest Celebrities, Religious and Spiritual Leaders, International Dignitaries, Scholars, Civic Leaders, The Arts and Sports Personalities.

    The Summit will feature a World Youth Peace Concert with performances by famous artists recognized for their commitment to world peace.

    Contestants are requested to design a logo that encompasses the mission of The World Youth Peace Summit.

    The winner will receive:

  • Two economy class round trip tickets to Nairobi to attend The World Youth Peace Summit
  • Full transportation, hotel accommodations and meals
  • Special award presented at The Summit
  • International Recognition for the design in our publications, materials and websites at The Summit.

    GENERAL INFORMATION

    The contest commences March 24th, 2003. The last day for submissions is April 30th, 2003. Designs submitted after April 30th will not be accepted. Contestants should be under the age of 30.

    All designs submitted to the competition become the property of The World Youth Peace Summit and may be retained for archival purposes and possible exhibition and publication.

    The World Youth Peace Summit reserves the right to select any or no design, and to alter the selected design as we see appropriate, if that design does not meet our contest guidelines. The decision of The World Youth Peace Summit is final.
